Wide Overlock Seam Finish

Fabric ................................ 2 pieces medium weight wool, 2½" x 5" each
Notes
.................................................. 2 strips bias cut tricot, ¾" x 5" (optional)
Needle ............................................................................. 80/12 Universal
Thread ................................................................... 3 cones serger thread
Presser Foot .............................................................................. standard
Stitch .................................................................... wide 3-thread overlock
Set serger for a wide 3-thread overlock stitch (left needle). Adjust all
settings for a balanced stitch.
Serge one 5" raw edge on each piece of fabric. Optional: For added
support, wrap the fabric edge with strips of bias cut tricot or water soluble
stabilizer before serging.

Using your BERNINA

Press seam open.
Trim and mount the sample.
