parameter, the TV System setting, the video output format, the
loaded disc, and display device settings.
The picture can appear stretched on the display device screen if a
video source recorded in 4:3 format is present and the RT-20 or the
associated component is configured for a 16:9 aspect ratio. To correct
this, configure the RT-20 or the associated component for a 4:3
aspect ratio. See the tables on pages 3-20 and 3-21 for more infor-
mation and configuration options.
Note:
• Some discs do not allow video output format adjustments.
• Neither the TV Aspect parameter background nor the TV System
prompt can be adjusted when the RT-20 is in playback mode.
• The RT-20 TV Aspect parameter is disc dependent. For example, an
option such as 4:3 L-Box is unavailable if the loaded disc does not
provide this option.
