The L/R distance parameter setting affects all other speaker distance
parameter settings. The C, LS, RS and LFE (sub) parameters must be
set within 15 feet (4.5m) of the L/R parameter.
Note:
• Select the closest available setting when the subwoofer distance falls
outside the LFE (sub) parameter range. This should not affect sur-
round cohesion.
• It is also possible to set the Distance parameter for SACD by setting
Super Audio CD Play to PCM. See "Super Audio CD Play" on page 3-
17.
LEVEL
Controls front, center, surround, and subwoofer channel output
levels when the RT-20 is using the 5.1-channel analog audio output
connectors.
Note:
This parameter setting has no effect when the RT-20 is using the
2-channel analog audio output connectors or digital audio output con-
and
nector.
Selecting Fix configures all channels to pass audio at its relative
recorded volume level. Selecting Variable opens the Gain Level Set-
ting screen, which can be used to adjust output levels within a
–6.0dB to +6.0dB range (in .5dB increments). See the "Gain Set-
tings Level Table (for all speakers)" on page 3-14.
