The following audio options are available for CDs; or LDs with only Digital Audio.
NOTE: LDs often have the same audio recorded on both the Digial and
Analog audio channels so the Analog audio can be output on older players
that do not have Digital Audio out, such as the LD-V2200 and the LD-V4200.
9) SPEED SET DOWN / UP (CAV LaserDiscs only)
Function: Pressing this button sets the speed for Multi-Speed play.
Explanation: This command sets the speeds listed below. If the button is
pressed once, the current speed setting is displayed on the screen. Press the Fast
or Slow button repeatedly to select a faster or slower speed until the desired speed
is displayed. The speed is set when the speed data is written into the Speed
Register. (See Figure 3-H, below, for speed settings.)
