When select to "Store file", the print data is stored in HDD on the machine.
Important
❒ When duplex printing data stored in the machine from the printer driver,
the [Orientation] and [Margin Adjust] settings may not print correctly. When
duplex printing landscape print data (illustration B.) stored in the machine
from the printer driver, set [Orientation] and [Margin Adjust] in the following
way:
• Orientation
The following settings are available on the machine when duplex print-
ing:
Opening Orientation
[Top to Top]
[Top to Bottom]
• Margin Adjust
The following settings are available on the machine when duplex or sin-
gle-sided printing:
Margin Placement
[Top]
[Bottom]
[Right]
[Left]
❒ When using "Store file", it is helpful to set a file name that identifies the
page orientation.
Note
❒ You can set a file name and the password for the data.
❒ Pages created using tabulation or similar applications must be sent sheet
by sheet. The book printing functions cannot be used with data created by
such applications.
❒ Settings that can be made on the machine (Paper feed tray, Number of
prints, etc.) become invalid, even if specified by the printer driver. For de-
tails, see Operating Instructions.
