RESETTING THE CAMERA DATE/TIME

Use the computer's date/time information to reset the date and time
in the camera.
Be sure the correct date and time are set on your computer
before transferring the data to the camera.
1. Select Set Clock... from the Camera menu.
• The Set Clock message will appear.
2. Click on OK.
• Click on Cancel to escape the operation.

FORMATTING IMAGE MEMORY CARDS

Format the image memory card in the camera while the camera is
connected to the computer.
All protected and unprotected images on the SmartMedia will
be permanently removed when the format function is used (see
the Protecting Images section in the camera manual).
1. Select Format Card... from the Camera menu.
• The following message will appear.
2. Click on Yes.
• FORMAT COMPLETE appears in the camera's LCD monitor when the
card is formatted.
