EXPOSURE COMPENSATION

Adjust the exposure before taking a picture.
1. Select Record Mode from the Camera menu.
2. Set the flash mode and image quality (p. 64).
3. Select Capture with Exposure Compensation...
from the Camera menu.
• The Exposure Compensation dialog box will appear.
4. Select the exposure compensation level by sliding
the lever to the desired increment.
• Values between the marks cannot be selected.
5. Frame your image in the camera's LCD monitor,
then click on Capture.
• Exposure Compensation is automatically canceled after the shutter is
released.

SELF-TIMER

Use the self-timer when recording remotely.
1. Click on

• The display will alternate between On and Off each time it is clicked.
Self-timer On
2. Select Record Mode from the Camera menu.
3. Set the flash mode, image quality, and exposure
compensation desired (p. 64).
4. Frame your image in the camera's LCD monitor,
then click on Capture.
• Self-timer is automatically canceled after the shutter is released.
