SAVING IMAGES

Make a hard copy of the displayed image by sending it to your printer.
1. Select Save As... from the File menu.
• The Save As dialog box will appear.
2. Select the folder/directory where the file will be
saved.
3. Enter the desired file name in the box labeled File
Name.

4.Select the file format from the drop-down list.
• The appropriate file extension will be added automatically.
5. Select the image depth for the file (p. 50).
• If TIFF was chosen for the file type, the TIFF Options dialog box will
appear.
. Images compressed with PackBits are not cross-platform compatible
(they can only be opened in Windows operating systems).
1. Select the compression type.
2. Click on OK.
