WHAT TO DO
Error in the address decoding circuitry on the system
board. Contact your NECCSD service representative
for service work.
Hard disk drive C: does not respond. Check that C:
hard disk type in Setup is correct.
Hard disk drive C: does not respond. You may need
to replace the hard disk drive.
Cache memory is defective. It must be replaced.
Contact your NECCSD service representative for
service work.
Most ISA computers include two timers. There is an
error in timer 2. Contact your NECCSD service
representative for service work.
CMOS RAM is powered by a battery. The battery
power is low. Contact your NECCSD service
representative to replace the CMOS battery.
After CMOS RAM values are saved, a checksum
value is generated for error checking. The previous
value is different from the current value. Run Setup
to reset the value.
The values stored in CMOS RAM are either corrupt
or nonexistent. Run Setup to reset the value.
The amount of memory on the system board is
different than the amount in CMOS RAM. Run Setup
to reset the value.
Run Setup to set the time and date.
The boot diskette in floppy drive A: is corrupt. It
cannot be used to boot the computer. Use another
boot disk and follow the on-screen instructions.
Error in the DMA controller. Contact your NECCSD
service representative to replace the CMOS battery.
Error in the first DMA channel. Contact your
NECCSD service representative for service.
