Monitor mechanism
If there is an object blocking the path of the TFT monitor as it is extending, a protective circuit
automatically stops the monitor from extending any further.
In this case, press the g button on the TFT monitor or switch the unit off and then on
again.
Setting the display parameters
Press "SET" on the touchscreen.
Touch "VIDEO", in order to call up the display settings.
Press the arrows next to the required setting (Brightness, Contrast, Colour, etc.) in order
to change the values.
Touch the 2 or 8 symbol in order to show further menu settings.
Touch "SET" in order to save the values and quit the menu.

Setting the aspect ratio
The aspect ratio can be set for the video sources.
Press the ASPECT button on the TFT monitor in order to set the required aspect ratio:
WIDE: 16:9 ratio
NORMAL: 4:3 ratio
CINEMA: Full-screen view

Touchscreen

The VRM 6100 is equipped with a touch-sensitive screen. Many of the unit functions can be
controlled using the touchscreen.
OSD menu operation
The OSD menu can be displayed as follows:
Touch the touchscreen or
press the OSD button on the remote control.
The OSD menu is shown.
The available sources are displayed in the top line.
Touch the relevant field on the touchscreen in order to activate the required function.
During the playback of video material (DVD, VCD, MPG) and in the case of JPEG images,
the OSD menu is hidden after a few seconds. Simply touch the touchscreen in order to
show the menu again.
If the unit does not react as expected when the touchscreen is touched, it may have to be
adjusted. See "Setup Menu –> System Settings –> Touch Adj.", page 31.
