4.5 Routing

Each remote node specifies only the network to which the gateway is directly connected, and
the P-336M has no knowledge of the networks beyond. For instance, the P-336M knows about
network N2 in the following figure through remote node Router 1. However, the P-336M is
unable to route a packet to network N3 because it doesn't know that there is a route through the
same remote node Router 1 (via gateway Router 2). The static routes are for you to tell the P-
336M about the networks beyond the remote nodes.

To view the routing table configure static routes, click Advanced > Routing to display the
configuration screen.
