CONDITION MEMO indicator
Indicates that Condition Memory settings are
memorized for the currently loaded DVD-Video disc
(page 59).

ANGLE indicator
Indicates Multi-Angle playback is in progress (page
50).

V-PART indicator
During DVD-Audio disc or DVD-Video disc playback,
lights when a video signal is present.

TITLE/GRP indicator
Indicates a title or group number is being displayed.

PROGRAM indicator
Indicates that the program function is on.

RANDOM indicator
Indicates that the random function is on.

CHP/TRK indicator
Indicates a chapter or track number is being
displayed.

CHP/TRK indicator
Indicates during chapter or track program play, repeat
playor random playback.

REPEAT (A-B) indicator
Indicates that the Repeat function is on and that the
current title, chapter, group, or track is being
repeated.

TOTAL indicator
Indicates that the disc in the player is stopped and
DISPLAY has been pressed (page 61).

REMAIN indicator
Indicates that the remaining playback time of a title,
chapter, group or track is being displayed.

Indicates DTS audio playback.

DOLBY DIGITAL indicator
Indicates Dolby Digital audio playback.

Lights when a Super Audio CD (SACD) is being
played.

Bit depth display
Displays the bit depth of the Linear PCM audio disc
playing.

Sampling frequency display
Displays the sampling frequency of the Linear PCM
audio disc playing.

MPEG
Lights during playback of MPEG audio.

Counter display
Displays the playback mode, type of disc, title/
chapter/group/track numbers, playback time, etc.

LAST MEMO indicator
Indicates the Last Memory location is registered in
memory for the currently loaded DVD-Video disc or
Video CD (page 58).

Program Format indicators
Depending on the audio format recorded on the disc
loaded in the player, the following indicators light to
show the channels being played back.
L
: Left front
C
: Center
R
: Right front
LS : Left surround
S
: Surround (mono)
RS : Right surround
LFE: LFE (Low Frequency Effects) channel

DOWNMIX indicator
During multichannel audio playback, indicates that the
out put signal has been "downmixed" from the
original audio source. This is an automatic function
performed by the player in order to present the most
appropriate audio mix to the speakers present in your
system.
