When clicking the [Connection test (E)...] button for the recorder
registration
The following message may be displayed when the [Connection test (E)...] button is clicked. Refer to the following to
solve the problem:

Registration was unsuc-
cessful.
• Failed to authenticate the user. Check whether the administrator pass-
word for the recorder and the administrator password registered on the
recorder registration window are exactly the same.
• There is no recorder located at the entered IP address. Check whether
the entered IP address for the recorder is correct.
• Failed to register. Try to register again after making sure that the "Read
Only" attribute is not set on the install folder, and that the available hard
disk space is enough for registration.
