Symptom
Cannot register schedules.
Cannot register favorites.
Cannot play the downloaded
file.
Cannot download files.
A black screen is displayed

during playback in the net-
work mode.

mode.
The time embedded in the
recorded image and the dis-
played time (for example,
time displayed in the infor-
mation display area) are dif-
ferent.
Cannot display the down-
loaded image file correctly
during playback (displayed
image broken)
Cause/solution
• Check the number of the registered schedules.
a Up to 400 schedules can be registered.
• Check the number of registered favorites.
a Up to 500 favorites can be registered.
• The message "The file is damaged." is displayed.
a The file cannot be played. Download the file again.
• Check the failed download list.
a When the download information is listed in the failed
download list, check the settings of the recorder such
as the IP address, FTP port number, etc.
• Depending on the display adapter installed on the PC in
use, it may be necessary to update the driver software of
the VGA card.
a Update the driver software of the display adapter in use
to the latest release version.
• A period with no recorded images will become a black
screen during playback.
a Click the skip button to play back the recorded images
following the skipped blank period.
• When playing an image file whose size is large, or when
playing on the multi-screen, a black screen may be dis-
played.
a Click the [PLAY] button. Playback will start from the
time displayed at the upper right of the playback image
display area.
• When the images recorded at a high recording rate, up
to one second of time lag between the embedded time
and the displayed time may occur.
• Playback may not be correctly performed depending on
the conditions of the hard disk.
a Perform the error check and defragmenter on the hard
disk drive.
