Check the table surfaces with a straightedge
as shown in Figure 7.

Adjust the hex bolts under the small exten-
sion table to align the surface with the main
table surface.
8.
Use the hex nuts below the braces to level
the surface of the large extension table.
9.
Tighten the hex nuts to secure the adjust-
ments made in Steps 7 & 8.
10. Tighten all extension table mounting bolts.

Parallelism
Besides the tools included with the saw, this pro-
cedure requires you to have an adjustable square
and feeler gauges or a dial indicator, a felt tip pen,
and the help of another person.
To adjust the sliding table parallel with the
main blade:
1.
Move the blade tilt to 0˚ (blade 90˚ to table),
and raise the main blade all the way up.
2.
Loosen the cap screws securing the sliding
table to the base, but leave the screw secur-
ing the center of the sliding table finger-tight.
3.
DISCONNECT THE TABLE SAW FROM
THE POWER SOURCE!
4.
Make a mark near the edge of the blade at
position A (Figure 8) using a felt tip pen.
This mark will allow you to take your mea-
surements from the exact same place on the
blade.
5.
Using an adjustable square or a dial indica-
tor, measure the distance (A) between the
T-slot and the front of the blade as shown in
Figure 8.
