The following section shows the dialog box options that appear during the HP Color LaserJet 2605
printing-system software installation on Microsoft Windows 2000 and Microsoft Windows XP operating
systems.
NOTE
Microsoft Windows 98 SE or Microsoft Windows Me. To install the HP Color LaserJet 2605
printing-system software on a computer running Microsoft Windows 98 SE or Microsoft Windows
Me, you must complete a Plug and Play installation. For more information, see
drivers using Microsoft Windows Plug and Play or Add-Printer
NOTE
LaserJet 2605 series printer to the computer (software-first installation). These instructions are
for a software-first installation.
Use these instructions the first time you install the HP Color LaserJet 2605 printing-system
software .
