Chapter 6: Live View

This section will discuss the Live View status icons and how to control and manage your Wi-Fi NVR using
the channel toolbar and mouse menu.

6.1 Live View (All Channels)

After you have completed the Startup Wizard for your Wi-Fi NVR, you will see the Live View screen. Live
View is the default display mode of the Wi-Fi NVR. It is the screen you will use to watch live video feed
from your wire free cameras and make select adjustments.

Date and Time OSD: Displays the date and time of your camera.

Signal Strength: Shows the signal strength of each channel's camera.

Battery status: Show the strength of each camera's batteries.

Play Button: When no human events are detected, the camera goes into sleep mode to save the battery. Click

the PLAY button to return to Live View.
Motion Detection Icon: Indicates that an alarm event such as motion detection, video loss or tampering

has been detected by the channel's camera.
Wi-Fi NVR Recording Status: Indicates the Wi-Fi NVR is currently recording video from the camera.

Channel Control Panel: Zoom In/Out, Picture Settings, Spotlight ON/OFF, Sleep Mode.

System Exception Icon: Indicates an Alarm or Exception occurred. Click the icon to access the

Alarm/Exception log for details about the event.
