Use this position when bagging (Figure 20).

Position C
This is the full open position. The suggested use for
this position is as follows (Figure 21).
• Use in tall, dense grass mowing conditions.
• Use in wet conditions.
• Lowers the engine power consumption.
• Allows increased ground speed in heavy conditions.

Using the Mid-Size Weight

Weights are installed on certain mowers to improve
balance and improve performance. The weights can be
moved or removed to create optimized performance
under different mowing conditions and for operator
preference (Figure 22 or Figure 23).
The following table indicates the position of the weight
as installed at the factory.

• Any rear weight must be removed when a
Tru–Track
• When a Tru–Track
are needed. Contact an Authorized Service Dealer
for the correct quantity of weights and placement.
WARNING
The front end of the machine can rapidly rise up
when the mower is removed. This could cause
serious injury to you or bystanders.
Support the rear of the machine when removing
the mower from the carrier frame.
