Changing the Tone

I To adjust the specific frequency of the equalization curve or simulated listening
environment
Select the desired equalization curve or simulated listening environ¬
ment before proceeding to step. (See pages 54-55.)

Press BAND to select the frequency band to
be adjusted.
Each press of BAND advances the frequency band setting
LOW, HIGH1, HIGH2 in sequence.
LOW: 63 Hz-220 Hz
HIGH1, HIGH2: 315 Hz-16 kHz

Turn JOG to select the frequency band you
want to adjust.

Press SLOPE (Q) to select the preferred slope,
"narrow" or "wide".
The curve slope selection changes from "narrow" to "wide"
each time SLOPE (Q) is pressed.
"narrow" mode: Only the center frequency that is
flashing will be boosted.
"wide" mode:
Adjacent frequency level will be also
boosted together with the center fre¬
quency.

Press JOG MODE to select EQ. L (equalizer
level) mode.
"USER" display will appear.
When you want to adjust another frequency band in suc¬
cession;:
1. Press BAND to select the frequency band to be adjusted.
2. Press JOG MODE to select EQ. F (equalizer frequency) mode.
3. Follow the steps 2-5.
■ To shift the curve slope
The curve slope can be shifted only within the range of
63 Hz-220 Hz (LOW) or 315 Hz-16 kHz (HIGH1-HIGH2).
1. Press JOG MODE to select EQ. F (equalizer frequency) mode.
The bar under EQ. F lights.
2. Shift the curve slope using JOG.
■ To adjust the reverberation sound
(Only when you select SFP mode)
1. Press JOG MODE to select EFFECT mode.
The bar under EFFECT lights.
2. Adjust the reverberation sound using JOG. (See page 57.)
