Tile Active htterface Shoe supplies power
to optional accessories such as a video
light, a flash, or a microphone. The
accessory can be turned on or eff as you
operate the POWER switch oil your
camcorder. Refer also to the instruction
manual supplied with your accessory for
details.
• Tile Active lnterliLce Shoe has a salety device
lor fixing the instafled accessory securcly. To
connect an accessory, press down and push it
to the end, and tllen tighten the sclvw. To
rctllove all accessory, loosen tile screw, and
then press down and pull oul the accessory.
• When you are recording with tile external
flw,h (optional), turn oil the power of the
external flash to i)rcvent charging noise being
recorded.
• You cannot use all external flash (optional)
and the buih-in flash at tile same time.
• When an external microphone
(optional)
is
connected, it takes precedence over lhe
internal microphone
