Change Options/Display Options (cho/dso) Commands
The following changes and additions apply to both the Change Options (cho) and Display Options (dso)
commands in support of 3821Plus modems.
The SECURITY Configuration Set screen contains one new field: Callback security. The values are
disable and enable. This field is displayed as a protected field for the standalone (3825), but as a required
field for the carrier-mounted cards (3821).
The following changes and additions apply to both the Change Options (cho) and Display Options (dso)
commands in support of 3600 Series R3.5 DSUs.
The GENERAL screen has a new field, Power on selftest, which accepts the following values: enable and
disable.
The DSU Configuration Set screen's Aggregate switch field name is changed to Network int switch.
The DBM Configuration Set screen's Fallback rate 1 (Kbps) and Fallback rate 2 (Kbps) fields no longer
accept disable. The Standby test field name is changed to Backup timer.
The MUX Configuration Set screen's Bridge rate field accepts the following new values: 16.8, 24.0, 28.8,
and 64.
The following changes and additions apply to both the Change Options (cho) and Display Options (dso)
commands in support of 3610/3611 DSUs.
The DSU Configuration Set screen's Aggregate switch field is changed to reflect the following values:
switched, disabled, and forced-on.
The DBM Configuration Set screen contains five new fields: Fallback, Switch type, Fallback
rate 1 (Kbps), Fallback rate 2 (Kbps), and Standby test. A pop-up menu is available listing all valid
selections. The DBM rate (Kbps) field contains the new values of 7.2, 16.8, 19.2, 21.6, 24.0, 26.4, 28.8,
and 64. The Single rate field with the values yes and no only displays if the DBM is a 12K or 14.4K DBM.
The DBM Diagnostic Configuration Set screen contains four new fields: DBM diag choice at FB1, DBM
SC speed at FB1, DBM diag choice at FB2, and DBM SC speed at FB2. A pop-up menu is available
listing all valid selections.
The Port Configuration Set screen for Single Port DSUs contains two new fields: Port rate at FB1 and
Port rate at FB2. A pop-up menu is available listing all valid selections. The DSU port rate field contains
new values. The new selection set is disable, 1.2, 2.4, 4.8, 7.2, 9.6, 12, 14.4, 16.8, 19.2, 38.4, 48, 56, 64, 2,
4, 8.4, 18, 32, 28.8, 4.4, 9.2, 18.8, 21.6, 24.0, 26.4. The DBM port rate field contains new values. The new
selection set is disable, 1.2, 2.4, 4.8, 7.2, 9.6, 12, 14.4, 16.8, 19.2, 2, 4, 8.4, 18, 32, 38.4, 48, 56, 28.8, 4.4,
9.2, 18.8, 21.6, 24.0, 26.4, 64.
The Port n (n=1–6) Configuration Set screen for the multiplexers contains one new field: DCE type which
accepts two values: analog and digital. (If the FEP port x/y sharing fields (x=1, 3, 5; y=2, 4, 6) in the
second page of MUX configuration set screen is disabled, the DCE type fields under the related ports will
be filtered. For example, if the field FEP port 1/2 sharing is disabled, then DCE type fields under Port 1
and Port 2 configuration set screens will be filtered.)
The Port Speeds Configuration Set screen for multiplexers contains selections for Port 1 through Port 6.
The new selection set for DDS rate (Kbps) is disable, 1.2, 2.4, 4.8, 7.2, 9.6, 12, 14.4, 16.8, 19.2, 38.4, 48,
56, 64, 2, 4, 8.4, 18, 32, 28.8, 4.4, 9.2, 18.8, 21.6, 24.0, 26.4. The new selection set for DDD rate (Kbps) is
disable, 1.2, 2.4, 4.8, 7.2, 9.6, 12, 14.4, 16.8, 19.2, 2, 4, 8.4, 18, 32, 38.4, 48, 56, 28.8, 4.4, 9.2, 18.8, 21.6,
24.0, 26.4, 64.
