Troubleshooting
Problem
No power
No sound
Keys do not produce correct pitch.
Sound is choppy and interrupted.
[PLAY] button fails to start playback.
Can't set the time signature.
Can't change phrase length.
Song playback stops midway.
Chord changes within a measure fall to
produce new sound.
Rhythm and timing at playback are dif-
ferent than at recording.
Cannot use the Fingered Chord function.

This following table provides troubleshooting hints for some common prob-
lems. Because the QY300 is a complicated device with many functions, most
problems are simply the result of incorrect settings. Before calling for profes-
sional service, refer to the troubleshooting advice below to see if you can find
and correct the cause of your problem.
The AC adaptor is not fully inserted.
The PA-1207 is not being used.
The volume level is too low.
The volume level of each track is too low.
The "Fingered Chord" is set to On.
Muting is applied to the tracks.
The "TG Channel" is Off.
"Course Tuning" is not set to 0.
"Fine Tuning" is not set to 0.
[OCT DOWN] or [OCT UP] has been set.
The QY300's maximum polyphony (maximum number of notes
that can be played at one time) has been exceeded.
The selected song, pattern, or phrase does not contain data.
"MIDI Sync" has been set to "external".
The song or phrase already contains data.
The phrase already contains data.
An end mark has been set somewhere within the pattern track.
The section contains the "Ending" setting.
The phrase's retrigger is set to Off.
The "Playback Effects" have been set.
The "Fingered Chord" is set to Off.
The "Fingered Chord Zone" is not set correctly.
The cursor is not located at a style number, section, chord root,
or chord type.
