Using gas and liquids for leak detection

Only use oxygen free nitrogen.
NOTICE! Damage hazard
Do not use cleaning agents containing chlorine for leak detection.
NOTE This option can only be used if the roof air conditioner does not contain refrigerant.
1.
Fill the refrigerant circuit with 9.81 ... 19.61 bar of pressurized nitrogen.
2. Lubricate the welding points with soap water.
Bubbles appear in the soap water at the leak points.
NOTE The bubbles can be very small and difficult to see with the eye.
3. If a refrigerant leak has been detected, solder the leak.
Testing the air ventilation system
1.
Connect the roof air conditioner to an AC frequency converter and an electrical safety tester.
Follow the AC frequency converter manufacture's and an electrical safety tester manufacture's instructions.
The electrical safety tester displays the components with deviating eletcrical values, if present.
2. If deviating eletcrical values have been detected, check the corresponding components.
3. Disconnect the electrical safety tester.
4. If necessary, replace the defective components.

6. Measure the air temperature next to the air outlet and the air inlet of the roof air conditioner with a thermometer
to ensure that there is a temperature difference.
NOTE Do not use a laser thermometer.
