Truck and Elevator
Slide the truck handle (206) through the elevator (304)
s l i d e t u b e s a n d i n t o t h e t r u c k b a s e s o c k e t s . T i g h t e n t h e
.
setscrews (205) in the sockets. See Fig 1.
Position the pump on the elevator frame (304) and use
the screws and lockwashers (302,303) to secure the
pump to the frame.

Inductor
Plate
If you are using the inductor plate, lubricate the o-ring
(408) in the throat of the plate, with light, waterproof
grease. Position the inductor plate on the pump foot
valve as shown in Fig 2, and tighten the setscrew (409).

Air Line
For automatic air motor lubrication, install an air line
oiler (A) close to the motor air inlet. For manual air
motor lubrication, see MAINTENANCE on page 5.
Upstream from the oiler, install the air regulator
assembly (51, an air filter (6) to remove harmful dirt and
contaminants from the compressed air supply, and a
bleed-type master air valve (CL

For your safety, read and follow the Grounding in-
structions in the FIRE OR EXPLOSION HAZARD sec-
tion on page 3.

MAIN AIR SUPPLY

Raise the pump and hook the

j u s t i n g o r r e p a i r i n g t h i s s y s t e m . T h i s v a l v e r e l i e v e s
air trapped between the pump and valve which
c o u l d c a u s e t h e p u m p t o c y c l e u n e x p e c t e d l y .
W i t h t h e r e g u l a t o r a n d b l e e d - t y p e m a s t e r a i r v a l v e c l o s -
ed, connect the grounded air hose (D) to the main air
s u p p l y l i n e .
fluid Line
Assemble the hose and gun kit (4) parts as shown in Fig
1. Use pipe sealant on male threads, except at swivel
connections. Swivels must remain free to move.

Supply Pail
Remove the cover from a 5 or 10 gallon supply pail.
Secure the pail to the truck base using the long clamps

Unhook the elevator hanger and lower the pump into
the pail. Open the inductor plate vent by turning the
knob (406) counterclockwise. Press down on the pump
and rock or jiggle the inductor plate back and forth to
firmly seat the plate on the fluid; continue until the fluid
appears at the vent opening (E), which indicates that air
is removed. See Fig 2.
NOTE:
Close the vent knob before proceeding.
