When operating the electrostatic bell, any
ungrounded objects in the spray location (people,
containers, tools, etc.) can become electrically
charged. Improper grounding can result in static
sparking, which can cause a fire, explosion, or
electric shock.
Ground all equipment, personnel, object being
sprayed, and conductive objects in or close to the
spray location. Follow the grounding instructions
below.
For full system grounding instructions and
requirements, see your applicator manual (334452 or
334626). The ground wire from the applicator must
be connected to the ground lug on the electrostatic
controller or stand. All cart components are
connected together for grounding. Connect a ground
wire from the grounding lug on the Electrostatic
Controller or stand to a true earth ground.
