Voltmeter
Voltmeter displays average voltage
(to the nearest 0.1 V) at the weld
output terminals.

Ammeter
Use meter to preset amperage. Me-
ter displays average weld amper-
age output of unit to nearest am-
pere when welding.
NOTE: Meters are self-calibrating.
No adjustment available.

Amperage Adjustment Control
Use control to adjust amperage,
and preset amperage on ammeter
(see Section 4-10). This control
may be adjusted while welding.

For remote amperage control,
front panel control setting is the
maximum amperage available. For
example: If front panel control is set
to 200 A, the range of the remote
amperage control is 5 to 200 A.
For pulse welding, use Amperage
Adjust control to select from 5−300
amps of peak amperage (see Sec-
tion 4-15).
For spot welding, use Amperage
Adjust control to select from 5−300
amps of peak amperage (see Sec-
tion 4-20).
