6. The P/T (Pulse/Tone) switch on the machine sets the
dial type for power fail, or unpowered dialing.
7. You can set the unit for a normal or soft ring. You can
also turn a ringer off if you do not want to be disturbed.
When you have turned off a ringer, you can still make
calls.
8. This switch controls the sound you hear from the speaker
while you are using the MONITOR button. Slide ittoward
the back of your unit to increase the volume, or toward
the front of the unit to decrease the volume.
9. Turn the unit upside down and mount a supplied name
card. :
Make sure the rivet on the bottom of the unit & stuck
into the hole in the name card.
10. If there is not enough space or if you place theu nit on
the edge of the table, install the supplied guide sheet.
Use the snap rivets supplied to mount the guid sheet
as shown.
Note:
Do not place the unit on the rugged surface or ones thick
carpet which might cause jam when you feed ; docu-
ment.
