6.7 Unmuting the Speaker in Conjunction with the Microphone (Off-hook Decode)
Off-hook Decode is the function to decode the received signaling (the QT tone or the DQT code) in conjunction with
the microphone on- or off-hook state.
If Off-hook Decode is enabled, the repeater unmutes the speaker regardless of the microphone on- or off-hook
state when the received signaling matches the configured signaling.
If Off-hook Decode is disabled, the repeater unmutes the speaker when the repeater receives a signal while the
microphone is in the off-hook state. The repeater unmutes the speaker if the received signaling matches the
configured signaling while the microphone is in the on-hook state.

Sending and Receiving a DTMF Code

DTMF (Dual Tone Multi-Frequency) is the signaling using the tone signal with 2 different frequencies. DTMF is used,
for example, to remotely control the repeater.
DTMF signaling is a combination of 2 different frequencies, consisting of a high frequency and a low frequency, and
consists of 0 to 9, A to D, * and # tones.
