HOW TO ACHIEVE PRECISE
EXPOSURE
1. SHOOTING IN VERY STRONG BACKLIGHT.
In very strong backlight or if a clear blue sky dominates the
scene, the main subject will turn out dark as shown in the
photograph. Under similar conditions, clear shots of the main
subject are possible with the
fujica s-giea Z450
by
setting the Fractional
Exposure Control at 2-SM. It will
increase exposure by 2 times.
This is the way to set it. First, press down the Fractional
Exposure Control Lock and turn the Dial until it comes to a
stop at 2-SM with a click.
2. SHOOTING WITH THE AID OF SPOTLIGHT.
Where the light illuminates only the main subject as in the
case of a stage performer, the surrounding darkness will cause
the main subject to become over exposed.
For correct exposure, all you have to do is to turn the
Variable Shutter Dial to 2. It will cut the light down to
one-half.

1. TOURNAGE A CONTRE-JOUR TRES PUISSANT
A contre-jour ou lorsqu'un brillant ciel bleu domine la scene,
le sujet principal est obscur comme nous vous le montrons
ci-dessous. Avec

vous pouvez
obtenir des images nettes de votre sujet principal dans les
mbmes conditions, en reglant le contrble d'exposition frac-
tionnee a 2-SM. Ainsi I'exposition sera augmentee deux fois.

Appuyez
sur le
systeme de fermeture cfu controle d'exposition fractionnee et
tournez le cadwh jusqu'a ce qu'il s'arrete au crantage 2-SM.
2. TOURNAGE AVEC UN PROJECTEUR
Lorsque la lumiere n'illumine que le sujet principal comme
pour le cas d'un acteur sur une scene, I'obscurite environ-
nante rendra le sujet surexpose.
Pour une exposition correcte, tournez le cadran de I'obtura-
teur variable sur 2. II amoindrira ainsi la lumiere de moitib.

1. FILMEN MIT SEHR STARKEM GEGENLICHT
Filmen mit sehr starkem Gegenlicht, oder wenn ein sehr
blauer Himmel die Szene beherrscht. Die gefilmten Gegen-
stande werden dunkel, wie unten gezeigt. Sie konnen trotz-
dem gut belichtete Filme erhalten, wenn Sie die fujica
smgie b Z4SO Belichtungskontrolle auf 2-SM einstellen.
Dies erhoht die Belichtungszeit um das Zweifache. Und so
wird's gemacht: Geben Sie die Arretierung der Belichtungs¬
kontrolle frei und drehen Sie die Wahlscheibe bis sie bei 2-SM
horbar einrastet.
2.
FILMEN MIT KUNSTLICHT
Bei Biihnenaufnahmen kommt es oft vor, dalS nur ein kleiner
Teil des Bildfeldes, das mit der Kamera eingefangen werden
soli,
angestrahlt
ist.
Die Belichtungsautomatik
stellt die
Belichtung jedoch auf den Hauptteil des Bildes, d.h. auf den
dunklen Hintergrund ein. In diesem Falle muft die Sektoren-
blenden-Wahlscheibe auf 2 gestellt werden, um die Belichtung
auf die Halfte zu reduzieren.
COMO CONSEGUIR UNA EXPOSICION
CORRECTA
1.
FILMACION CON UN CONTRALUZ MUY INTENSO
Si hay un contraluz muy intenso o si la escena esta dominada
por un cielo azul claro, el tema principal aparecera oscuro,
como se vb en la fotografia. En condiciones similares, es
posible obtener
tomas Claras del
tema principal con la
fujica
a Z450
ajustando el control fraccional de
exposicion a 2-SM, que aumentara la exposicion 2 veces.
La forma de ajustarlo es: primero, presione el cierre del
control de exposicion fraccional y gire el dial hasta que llegue
a un tope en 2-SM en donde se escuchara un clic.
2.
FILMACION CON AYUDA DE UN FOCO
Cuando la luz ilumine solamente el tema principal, como
ocurre en el caso de un artista que actua en el escehario, la
oscuridad del tema circundante hara que el tema principal
aparezca excesivamente expuesto.
Para obtener una correcta exposicion, lo unico que ha de
hacer es girar el dial del obturador variable a la posicibn 2. De
esta forma se reducira la luz a la mitad.
