Sensor connections

Hazardous voltage
Hazardous voltage present on transducer terminals during operation.
Note
Important wiring notes
• Do not connect coaxial cable directly to the device due to high voltage transmitted on
shield of coaxial cable; use coaxial cable converter box instead (see wiring below).
• Do not connect the device shield and white transducer wires together; wire to separate
terminals.
• Disregard older transducer manuals that recommend these practices.
Coaxial cable converter wiring
Note
Improper installation in hazardous areas
Coaxial cable converter is available with approvals for ordinary location applications.
• Do not install in hazardous areas.

Note that for EchoMax transducer connection:
positive = black wire
negative = white wire
