This menutells the AVR220 which type of
speakersare in use. T his isimportant a s it
adjuststhe settingsthat determinewhich
speakersreceivelow-frequency(bass)informa-
tion. Foreachof thesesettingsusethe

particular position aretraditional full-range
loudspeakers that are capableof reproducing
soundsbelow lOOHz.Usethe SMALL set-
ting for smaller,frequency-limitedsatellite
s3eakersthat do not reproducesoundsbelow
f the distances are equal,no further adjustment
is reeuiredand the centerdelayshouldbe set to
dynamicrangeand full intelligibilityof a movie
zero.If the distanceto the front speakersis
soundtrack, particularlythe dialogue, w hile
greaterthan the distanceto the centerspeaker,
