Turn On Volume Level
Asis the casewith mostaudio/videoreceivers,
when the AVR220 is turned on, it will always
returnto the volumesetting in effectwhen the
unit wasturned off. However, y ou may preferto
alwayshavethe AVR220 turn on at a specific
setting, regardless of what was last in use
when the unit wasturned off. Tochangethe
default condition sothat the samevolume level
s alwaysusedat turn-on,you will needto
makean adjustment inthe ADVANCED

Semi-OSD Settings
Thesemi-OSD systemplacesone-linemessages
at the lower third of the video displayscreen
wheneverthe Volume,Input Source, S urround
mode or tunerfrequencyof any of the configu-
ration settingsis changed.Thesemi-OSD sys-
tem is helpfulin that it enablesyou to have
feedbackon anycontrol changesor remote
commandsusingthe video displaywhen it is
difficult to view the front-paneldisplays.
However, y ou may occasionallypreferto turn
thesedisplaysoff for a particularlisteningses-
sion.Youmay alsowant to adjustthe length of
time the displaysremainon the screen.Bothof
thoseoptions are possiblewith the AVR220.
