Using remote controller
Overview
The RC=460M
remote
controller
is a useful 1ooi to help you operate
the components
of your home theater. "I_ do so, first press the Mode
button
that corresponds
Io the device
you wish to control.
Then
simply
press the desired
operalion
button
and the component
will
operate
accordingly.
For example,
if you wish to select the CD input
source
at the TX=DS797
with the remote
controller,
first press
the
RCVR MODE
button 1o select the TX=DS797
and then press the CD
(INPUT
SELECTOR)
button.

Calling up a preset radio station
1. Press the RCVR MODE button.
The RCVR MODE button lights green.
2. Press the TUN input selector button.
3. Press the CH _ or = button to select the desired
preset station number.

The RI connector
of the Onkyo cassette
tape deck must be
connected Io the TX=DS797 (see page 14).
1. Press the RCVR MODE button.
The RCVR MODE button lights green.
2. Press the desired operation button.

buttons thai can be used Io control an Onkyo cassette tape deck.
Operation buttons:

[2: Stop
<_: Rewind
[Z>: Fast forward
C:_: Press during playback to skip to the beginning of the next 1rack.
Z_:a:Press during playback Io skip to the beginning of the current
track.
R (Re¢): RecoM/Pause
@: Reve_:se playback
You may also use the following buttons:
VOL _/V: Adjusts the volume at the TX-DS797
MUTING:
Activates the muting function at the TX-DS797
Note:
Even for devices with the _
and _
butlons, signal discrepancies
may cause them not Io work properly.
