There are 10 kinds of timing to the DS-L, and all the modes
are controlled by that combination.

When the LPS value specified in the timing chart should be detected, the magazine tray comes
to a stop, and the LPS value is rechecked. If the value iswithin the specified range, the operation
proceeds to the next step. If the valueshould be outside the specified range, the position is
recorrected after the wait for 100ms.
The H —> L of PHOTO 1 and 2 is detected while the D LOAD switch is in Land moreover if the
H —>L of D LOAD switch should be detected, it is so judged that the disc is normally loading or
unloading, and the operation proceeds to the next step. (After the end of detection, the present
disc # is rewritten).

. Play operation <Eject —> PLAY disc #1>
Magazine insertion :
Insert the magazine into the DS-L mechanism.
. Magazine lock :
The magazine is locked to the DS-L mechanism, and the magazine switch is turned on. (IC601
pin #28 Low).
3. Disc #1 selection :
The disc #1 is selected with the source switch.
4. Tray magazine discharge :
The main control IC (IC601) pin #24 outputs 5V to the IC702 motor drive IC, and 7V is supplied
to the magazine tray motor (tray motor FWD side - red wire) from IC702 pin #5, and the magazine
tray is moved until the LPS HEX value becomes 86 disc #1 position.
. Tray magazine stop :
When 7V is supplied to the magazine tray motor (traymotor BWD side - black wire) from IC702
pin #3 and the LPS HEX value reaches 86, then the magazine tray stops.
