Disassembly Instructions
1. Removai of Pilate Door
(1) After pushing the Magazine switch inside the Cover Door with a thin plate etc.
as shown in Figure 5, connect the power supply to the unit.
(2) Press the SOURCE button to activate the 3D mode.
(3) Press one of the Disc selection buttons. When the tray section is pulled forward,
disconnect the power supply.
(To the extent that the screw No.8 (<1) can be seen from side view.)

Aijter installing the Plate Door, connect the power supply and press the EJECT button.
2. Removal of Nose Unit
(1) Refer to the Owner's Manual (68P91508W77).
3. Removal of Front Escutcheon
(1) After removal of Face Plate, Top Cover and Plate Door, remove six Hooks (A).

4. Removal of CD Deck Mechanism
(1) After removal of Front Escutcheon, remove one point Solder (A)

and six screws No.10, 11, 17.

(2) CD Deck Mechanism with Main P.W.Board and Heat Sink can be removed completely.

When removing and installing the FPC Pick-Up P.W.Board, make sure not to
damage the P.W.Board.

Incase of removing the FPC Pick-Up P.W.Board from the CD-LSI P.W.Board,
first short-circuit the pattern shown in Figure 6 by soldering and remove the
P.W.Board. If not, the Pick-Up Unit may be damaged. After installing, be sure to
resolder perfectly.
5. Removal of Main P.W.Board
(1) After removal of CD Deck Mechanism, remove two points Solder (B) and
two screws No.9.
(2) Remove two screws No.13 and remove Heat Sink.
(3) Remove two connectors from Main P.W.Board.
