Troubleshooting Guide

PROBLEMS
No video signal. Words
don't appear on the TV
monitor.
There is a loud
"squealing" noise
coming from speakers.
Unable to connect the
CDG-600RF to my
television monitor with
the "RCA" cable
provided.
CAUSES
The television may not be
switched to the proper
video input channel.
Feedback can occur if
the microphone is held
too closely to, or pointed
directly at, the
speakers, or because
too much treble and
echo is set for the
microphone channels.
Not all
televisions/monitors have
"RCA" connector jacks.
SOLUTIONS
1. The television may not be switched to the
proper video input channel.
2. Be sure the "VIDEO OUTPUT" jack (See
PARTS AND FUNCTIONS diagram) on the rear
panel of the CDG-600RF is connected to the
"VIDEO INPUT" section of the TV monitor.
1. Turn down the microphone volume.
2. Turn down the treble control.
3. Hold the microphone away from the
speakers.
1. You will need an "RF Modulator", or VCR to
connect video.
