USING THE OPTIONAL MINI DISC RECORDER
CONNECTIONS
For how to hook.up the entire system, refer to page 6.
CAUTION
Before connecting the Mini Disc Recorder, disconnect the AC
cord from the AC outlet.
After making connections, re-connect the AC cord.
CONNECTING THE MINI DISC RECORDER
1 Connect the Mini Disc Recorder's flat cable to the
FROM MD terminal on the rear of the Stereo Tuner.

2 Connect the Mini Disc Recorder's CD DIGITAL IN
jack and the Compact Disc Player's DIGITAL OUT
jack using the optical cable supplied with the Mini
Disc Recorder.
Before making connection, remove the dust cap from each
jack.

When the CD DIGITAL IN jack and the DIGITAL OUT jack are
not used, attach the supplied dust cap to each jack.
Recommended positioning
Place the Mini Disc Recorder on top of the Compact Disc Player.
