Troubleshooting

Possible Solution
1. Ensure correct power supply voltage and circuit size.
2. Test for good contacts, correct wiring (Page 35).
3. Filters must be installed before machine is turned
ON. Starting machine without filters can cause circuit
overload or machine electrical damage.
4. Ensure circuit is free of shorts. Reset circuit breaker or
replace fuse.
5. Correct motor wiring connections (Page 35).
6. Reset. Adjust or replace if at fault.
7. Test/replace if at fault.
8. Adjust centrifugal switch/clean contact points. Replace
either if at fault.
9. Test all legs for power; replace if necessary.
10. Fix broken wires or disconnected/corroded
connections (Page 35).
11. Tighten/adjust/replace button.
12. Replace auxiliary contactor.
13. Replace motor.
1. Clean filters; replace with new filters if performance
does not improve (Page 26).
2. Empty dust tray (Page 27).
3. Remove ducting from dust collector inlet and unblock
the restriction (Page 29).
4. Correct motor wiring connections (Page 35).
5. Move closer to machine/redesign ducting layout/use
larger, more powerful dust collector.
6. Test for good contacts, correct wiring (Page 35).
7. Clean motor, let cool, and reduce workload.
8. Test/replace.
9. Move machine closer to power supply, use shorter
extension cord (Page 11).
10. Test all legs for power; repair/replace if at fault.
11. Adjust centrifugal switch/clean contact points. Replace
either if at fault.
12. Replace motor.
