To preset another program, repeat steps 1 to 7. Up to 6
programs can be preset.
8 Press TIMER REC.
The power will be turned off and the recorder will enter
the standby mode.

Recording will start at the preset time and will automatically
stop when the recording is completed.
The memory of the program (except everyday and every
week settings) will be erased and the program positions
preset in the timer will advance one by one.
Notice:
ONCE THE TIMER
REC INDICATOR
HAS BEEN
DISPLAYED,
only the functions of CHECK and TIMER
REC on the recorder can be activated. To turn on the
power again for the usual manual operations, press
TIMER REC again so that the indicator turns off.
Before the Timer-activated Recording
Starts
To check the timer settings
Press CHECK. Every time you press CHECK, another
program will be displayed.
To change the settings
1 Press TIMER REC. The TIMER REC indicator turns off.
2 Press CHECK to select the program to be changed.
3 Press TIMER SET.
4 Press NEXT until the item to be changed blinks.
5 Change the setting with the + or — button.
6 Press NEXT so that the current time appears.
7 Press TIMER
REC again to reactivate the timer.
To erase the memory of the timer settings
1 Press TIMER REC. The TIMER REC indicator turns off.
2 Press CHECK to select the program to be erased.
3 Press CLEAR/RESET.
The memory of the program will
be eliminated.
4 \f other programs have been preset for recording, press
TIMER REC again to reactivate the timer.
During Recordi
To stop during the timer recording
Press TIMER REC. The recording will stop and the power
will be turned off.
When the tape ends during timer recording
The tape will stop but the tape will not be rewound to the
beginning.
Notes on Timer Recording
Problems when TIMER REC is pressed
The cassette inserted has
had its safety tab
removed.
The cassette is

appear in the window.
No cassette has been
inserted.
When the presettings of your timer-activated recordings
overlap
There will be no error indication to inform you of the
overlap. Even if there is an overlap, a recording will be
made.
