Memory buttons 1, 2, and 3 correspond to Variations 1, 2, and 3.
* For more details on each variation, refer to Delay (p. 18),
Chorus (p. 19), and Reverb (p. 20).
1.
Hold down, for at least one second, the effect button
(either [DELAY], [CHORUS], or [REVERB)) for the
variation you want to change.
The pressed button flashes, and at the same time the
indicators for the [1/6], [2/7], and [3/8] buttons light up
to indicate the variation number.
2.
Press the [1/6], [2/7], or [3/8] button to select the
variation.
The pressed button flashes.
3. Press the effect button pressed in Step 1 one more time to
complete the setting.
Noise Suppressor
The VGA-5 features a built-in noise suppressor.
The noise suppressor is an effect that reduces noise that is
picked up by guitar pickups.
The noise suppressor effect can be set to any of ten levels.
Hold down the button for

Flashing: Current level
* When set to "1," the noise suppressor effect is minimal; a
setting of "10° provides heavy suppression.
1. Hold down the [EFX] button for at least one second.
The [EFX] flashes, and at the same time the indicators for
the [1/6]-[5/10] buttons light up. The flashing button
indicator shows the current noise suppressor level.
2.
Press the [A/B] or one of the button [1/6]-[5/10], to adjust
the noise to a suitable level.
3.
Press
[EFX] one more time to complete the setting.

* Setting the noise suppressor to "10" (effect depth) ntay result
in the sound being cut off fast when the guitar volume is low.

The noise suppressor setting
is applied to both Manual mode

and Memory mode.
* Settings cannot be made individually for each memory.
*
This setting is stored by the VGA-5, even without the WRITE
button being pressed.
