10. Attach the lift cable to the mower lift bracket
(figure 12).
A. Lift Cable
UNHITCHING THE MOWER
1. Unhook lift cable from mower. To fasten cable out
of the way, pin the cable end to the cable portion
behind the lift pulley under the tractor.
2. Lift the belt tension lever (E, figure 10) for slack and
remove the V-belt from the mower drive pulley.
3. Remove the idler pulley support bracket (A, figure
10) from the tractor. Remove clutch cover to
remove V-belt from front clutch.
4. Use the same leverage system as for installation to
remove the hitch pins and lower mower to ground.
Store pins in mower hitch.
5. Remove mower from under tractor.
