HEADSET MODE

Using a headset allows you to make and receive calls without using the handset.
Plug the headset cable to the connector marked

By default, the phone is set to connect calls to the loudspeaker. If you are using a
headset, you can switch to the headset preset mode to have calls connected to the
headset instead.

Note: When you lift the handset, the call is always connected to the handset, regard-
less of the type of preset setting. Activation and deactivation of Headset Preset
can only be done when the phone is in idle mode.
Note: When headset preset mode is used and when automatic answer is used, it is
possible to announce a new call by a special tone in the headset.
