QUICK START: Provides two different options to bypass the setup prompts:
If you press QUICK START while the start-up prompt is scrolling across the display, the
manual mode's course profile appears in the display. When you press HOLD TO RESET or
stop your workout, the accumulated workout statistics are not stored because the program is
not associated with a user I .D.
CAUTION: The QUICK START key automatically
starts the running belt if either the Weight Loss
or the Fitness Test was the last program used
with your user I.D. See CAUTION with "Using
the QUICK START Feature."
If no information is stored in the treadmill's memory for the user I.D. that is being displayed on the
electronic console, pressing QUICK START causes the Manual program to appear on the display.
For more information, refer to
Using the QUICK START Feature.
Changing the Display to U.S. Standard or Metric
The M9.45 treadmill can display speed in either miles per hour (mph) or kilometers per hour (kph)
and distance in miles or kilometers. When the M9.45 is shipped from the factory, it is set to display
to U.S. Standard units of measure (mph and miles). You can easily change this setting by taking
the following steps:
Note: The M9.45 treadmill will retain your selection even when it is turned OFF and unplugged. You
can change your selection at any time by repeating the following steps.
1.
Insert the magnetic safety key into the electronic console.
2.
Turn ON the treadmill using the power switch located at the front of the hood.
Note: If the treadmill is already ON, press the HOLD TO RESET key to display the Precor start¬
up prompt. The Precor start-up prompt must be scrolling across the display before you can
continue.
3.
With the Precor start-up prompt scrolling across the display, simultaneously press and hold
the SPEED A key and the QUICK START key for at least 3 seconds. The unit of measure ("U.S.
Standard" or "Metric") that the treadmill is currently set at appears. Release both keys.
4.
Any ▼ or A key lets you alternate between the prompts. Press one of the ▼ or A keys.
5.
When the appropriate unit of measure appears on the display, press ENTER. The software
reconfigures its displays to the unit of measure that you chose and the user I.D. prompt
appears.
The changes have been retained in the treadmill's memory. To begin a workout, refer to
Working
Out on the M9.45 Low Impact Treadmill.
If you prefer, you can turn OFF the treadmill once you
have completed steps 1 through 5.
If you press ENTER while the start-up prompt is scrolling across the display, the user I.D. that
was last entered into the treadmill's memory appears. Pressing QUICK START, at this point,
accesses the last program that you used. The display prompts you to press the SPEED a key
and begin your workout. At the end of your workout, the accumulated statistics are stored
with your user I.D.
