Press this button to display channel number, off-timer remaining
time, screen modes, and other settings. For approximately 10
seconds, only the channel number remains,. ....
The channel number remains, but other information disappears
after a specified period. Press this button again to delete channel
number display.

The INFO/RECALL button switches the display in the following order.

Mute
Useful when answering the phone or receiving unexpected visitors
MUTE
Press this button to mute the sound. Press again to reactivate
sound. Sound is also reactivated when power is turned off or
volume level is changed.
