2. Starting with either the right or left
carburetor, turn each pilot screw @ to
find the point of highest rpm; the
same should be done with the opposite
carburetor. Turning the pilot screw in
produces a lean fuel air mixture, turn-
ing the screw
out produces a rich
mixture.

3. Readjust the throttle stop screw if it is
necessary to reset the idle speed.
After
performing
the
adjustment
above if the proper idling speed cannot
be obtained
or if the exhaust back
pressures from the cylinders are not
uniform,
the carburetors require in-
dividual
adjustment

synchro-
nization. Synchronization of the car-
buretors requires special instrumenta-
tion and should be referred to an
authorized dealer.
