This chapter describes the functions which need to control the
SR7000, See page 18 and foiiowing pages to refer other function of
the RC7000SR,
H] POWER ON and OFF buttons
These two buttons are use for turning on or off SR7000.
Rotate this dial to select commands displayed on the LCD for each
function.
Refer to follow.

Function buttons
Press one of these buttons twice within 2 seconds to select the input
function of SR7000,
Press one of these buttons once to change the state of remote
commander.
U] VOLUME A
Up
/ T down buttons
These buttons are used to raise and lower the SR7000's volume level.
The cursor buttons can be used to navigate within on-screen menus of
SR7000.
This button can be used to mute the sound temporarily.
H
CLEAR button
This button is used to cancel certain memory or programming
operations.
This button is used to enter the tuner preset memory numbers and
station names.
TEN KEYPAD
They are useful for tuning a pre-set radio station and setting a station
name.

Remote control
TTie distance between the transmitter of the remote control unit and
the IR SENSOR of the SR7000 should be less than about 5 meters. If
tile transmitter is pointed to a direction other than the IR SENSOR or if
there is an obstacle between them, remote control may not be
possible.

Loading batteries
The life of the batteries used with the remote control unit is about 6
months with normal use. Also be sure to replace batteries earlier
when you notice that they are getting weak,
(1) Remove the back cover.
(2) Insert the new batteries (AA type) with correct (+) and (-)
polarity.
(3) Close until It clicks.
