First, select the component you want to operate on the MAIN MENU
display.
1. Press the button for the component you want to operate with
the input selector on the MAIN MENU display.
The > mark moves to the right of the selected component.
2. Press the same button once more.
Operation displays of various components are indicated.
NOTE:
To return to the MAIN MENU display from the operation displays of
components, press the MAIN MENU icon at the upper Jett.
[TAPE 1]
When using a single cassette deck, use "DECK II" side.
POWER : Switches cassette deck power ON/OFF.
(This key cannot be used with some PIONEER
cassette decks.)
TAPE SEL (1-—6}
: Selects the cassette No. for multi-cassette changer.
<DECK i>
] : Stops the tape transport.
, : Rapidly advances the tape in the direction of the
arrow.
a : Temporarily stops tape transport. Press again to
resume tape transport.
~<a : Selects reverse playback.
> : Selects forward playback.

a : Stops the tape transport.
a4, : Rapidly advances the tape in the direction of the
arrow.
a : Temporarily stops tape transport. Press again to
resume tape transport.

id : Selects forward playback,
[LD]
POWER : Switches LD piayer power ON/OFF.
SIDE A : Selects playback LD disc side A.
SIDE B : Selects playback LD disc side B.
DISC SEL : Selects the CD/CDV disc No. (1 to 5) for multi-play
CD CDV LD players.
nea : Selects fast backward.
aa : Selects fast forward.
<< : Searches for the start of the chapter playing.
eel : Searches for the start of the next chapter.
B : Playback is stopped when selected once. Selecting
again causes the disc tray to come out.
a : Video and audio are stopped and playback is
paused.
> : Selects playback.
+10 : Use to input such information as chapter numbers
higher than 10.
1-3, 0 : For direct selection of a chapter.

[PHONO] (Turntable)
a : Stops playback.
> : Starts playback.
[TV/SAT]
TV VOL —, +: Raises and lowers the volume,
CHANNEL 1-9, 0
: Used to call up channels.
MTS : Selects the reception mode for multi-channel TV
sound.
[VCR 1/VCR 2/VIDEQ]

POWER : Switches VCR power ON/OFF.
CH+ : Shifts channels in ascending order.
CH - : Shifts channels in descending order.
TV/VTR : This can be used only for VCRs with a TV/VCR
selector. Toggles the antenna output between TV
and VCR.
i) : Stops tape transport.
a : Sets pause and still picture.
a : Starts playback.
Sal : Rewinds the tape and picture search
> : Rapidly advances the tape and picture search.
