DISC ENTRY
(EXCEPT FOR SINGLE-TYPE CD PLAYER)
* You can register the title, artist's name, track numbers, and genre
of each disc (DISC INFORMATION).
You can also register the titles of CD tracks (MUSIC TITLE).

DISC INFORMATION
14. On the CD operation display, search for the disc you want to
register with the PAGE <1
buttons, and press the DISC No.
button.
@ When the disc whose DISC No. you selected is loaded, play starts.
In the case of file-type CD player, you can find it quickly using
DISC No. SEARCH. {p. 44)
2. Press the DISC ENTRY button.
The DISC ENTRY display appears on screen

3. Select the DISC INFORMATION
and press the YES button.
The INPUT DISC TITLE display appears on screen.
To cancel the DISC ENTRY display, press the NO button.

The INPUT ARTIST NAME display appears on screen. (Press the
BACK button to return to the INPUT DISC TITLE display.)

6. input the artist's name.
% Press the NEXT button.
The INPUT TOTAL TRACKS display appears on screen. (Press the
BACK button to return to the INPUT ARTIST NAME display.)
8. Input the number of tracks on the CD.
A maximum of 20 can be input.
9. Press the NEXT button,
The INPUT MUSIC GENRE display appears on screen.
(Press the
BACK butten to return to the INPUT TOTAL TRACKS display.)
When selecting ong of the four registered genres (ROCK, JAZZ,
COUNTRY, CLASSIC), continue from step 13. When registering a
genre name in the A to H buttons, continue from step 10,
10. (When registering a genre name) Seiect and press the button
from A to H you want to register in.
Tt. Press the MODIFY buttan.
The keyboard is displayed.
if you press NO, input information is not memorized, and you
return to step 10's display.
12. Input your desired genre name {up to 7 letters), and press
YES.
The keyboard disappears.
13. Select and press the genre you want to enter for a disc.
14. Press the NEXT button.
The information you entered is displayed. Hf tt is correct. press
YES.
(Memorization has completed and this returns you to the
DISC ENTRY display.)
{f you want to alter the information you entered, press the BACK
button to return to the display which features the information you
want to enter. You can also press NO to return to the DISC ENTRY
screen without registering any of the information you entered.
