7. If you want to calibrate the
display's color by a calibrator,
slide to open the cover on the top
plate so the calibrator can be
installed.
Follow the instruction manuals of the calibrator you
purchased and the provided software (e.g., Palette
Master Ultimate) to complete the installation and
calibration process.
Portrait installation
Plates required for portrait installation:
Some models may come with shading hood for landscape installation only. Check the package contents of
the purchased model.
1. Prepare for the shading hood
installation.
Place the monitor upright on its stand on a flat even
surface. Make sure the monitor is rotated to the
portrait mode as instructed in
on page 38.
Follow the illustrations to complete the installation
carefully.
2. Install the right hoods.
Align the arrow on plate (R1) with the one on plate
(R2) and attach them together. Slide plate (R2) to
the end as illustrated.
Align the arrow on plate (Rt) with the one on plate
(R1) and attach them together. Slide plate (R1)
along with plate (R2) to the end as illustrated.
