Connext
Connext devices deliver a connected cockpit solution.
You can wirelessly upload databases and flight plans
from your mobile device to your Connext device,
and pair your device with your watch to view aircraft
information at a glance.
Garmin Pilot app: The Garmin Pilot app allows you to
create flight plans and send them to your watch

Stream 510 device, to display data from your

You can use the Garmin Pilot app to create flight plans
and send them to your D2 device. The Garmin Pilot app
is available for some mobile devices. See the app store
for your mobile device for availability and compatibility
information.
Your D2 device connects to the Garmin Pilot app using
Bluetooth technology. Go to

Pairing a Connext Device
The first time you connect your D2 watch to a
compatible Connext device, you must pair them using
Bluetooth technology.
1 Enter pairing mode on your Connext device.
2 Bring your watch within 10 m (33 ft.) of your
device.
3 Hold MENU.
4 Select Settings > Aviation > Connext > Pair
Connext > Status > On�
A prompt appears on your Connext device. After
the watch is paired with your device, a message
appears on your watch. Aircraft information from
the Connext device appears in the data screen loop
or custom data fields.
5 Select Start with FLY (optional).
Your Connext device connects automatically when
you start a flying activity on the watch, and the
device is active and within range.

Wi-Fi Connected Features
The D2 Delta PX device has Wi-Fi connected features.
The Garmin Connect Mobile app is not required for you
to use Wi-Fi connectivity.
Activity uploads to your Garmin Connect account:
Automatically sends your activity to your Garmin
Connect account as soon as you finish recording
the activity.
Workouts and training plans: Allows you to browse
for and select workouts and training plans on the
Garmin Connect site. The next time your device
has a Wi-Fi connection, the files are wirelessly sent
to your device.
Software updates: Your device downloads and installs
the latest software update automatically when a
Wi-Fi connection is available.
Setting Up Wi-Fi Connectivity
1 Select an option:
• Download the Garmin Connect Mobile app, and
pair your smartphone
with Your Device,
• Go to Garmin.com.sg/express, and download the
Garmin Express application.
2 Follow the on-screen instructions to set up Wi-Fi
connectivity.
Connect IQ Features
You can add Connect IQ features to your watch from
Garmin and other providers using the Connect IQ
Mobile app. You can customize your device with watch
faces, data fields, widgets, and apps.
Watch Faces: Allow you to customize the appearance
of the clock.
Data Fields: Allow you to download new data fields
that present sensor, activity, and history data in
new ways. You can add Connect IQ data fields to
built-in features and pages.
Widgets: Provide information at a glance, including
sensor data and notifications.
Apps: Add interactive features to your watch, such as
new outdoor and fitness activity types.
Downloading Connect IQ Features
Before you can download features from the Connect
IQ Mobile app, you must pair your D2 Delta PX device
with your smartphone.
1 From the app store on your smartphone, install and
open the Connect IQ Mobile app.
2 If necessary, select your device.
3 Select a Connect IQ feature.
4 Follow the on-screen instructions.
